Colin joins Lumio with a wealth of knowledge and experience spanning over a 20-year career as a senior educational leader. His leadership journey includes roles as Governor, Headteacher, Principal, Director of Education and CEO of a group of 18 Schools in Dorset, UK. His international experience includes leading schools in Dubai and Europe.
Colin is looking forward to embarking on the exciting journey of establishing Lumio as a leading international school with a holistic, caring and highly personalised curriculum where every child makes progress in their journey of growth and improvement. He is excited about the endless possibilities associated with creating an international school where children flourish, expand their interests and passions through a culture of inclusion and personal development.
Colin will be joined by his wife, Sally, and they are looking forward to welcoming their grown-up children to the island whenever they can. As a keen sportsman, Colin can be found keeping fit and healthy by playing golf and going to the gym and he and his wife love attending music gigs and festivals as a way of relaxing. He has a passion for riding motorcycles and has ventured through Europe on two wheels and is looking forward to exploring the beautiful island of Cyprus.
