At LUMIO School, our vision is to create a community where happy children are learning together, feeling safe, valued, and confident to achieve their full potential.

Welcome to Lumio Private School, a learning community grounded in the belief that education must place the wellbeing and development of children at its core.
Lumio is committed to providing a holistic and inclusive education that supports the intellectual, emotional, social, and ethical growth of each student. The school’s educational philosophy is informed by the idea that learning should be both meaningful and joyful—an experience that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and a sense of belonging. Lumio is a student-centered institution with a clear pedagogical vision. This approach aligns with long-standing traditions in international education, where schools serve as spaces for deep inquiry, cultural exchange, and the cultivation of democratic values.
Drawing from professional experience across Italy, the UK, and Spain, and a long-standing collaboration with the International Baccalaureate as an IBEN educator, I am deeply committed to furthering this vision in both policy and practice.
At Lumio, collaboration is central. Students, educators, and families work together to create an environment in which shared values—respect, integrity, compassion—inform every aspect of school life. As the school continues to grow and expand its programmes, including its development towards a full K–12 offering and the implementation of the IB Diploma Programme, this collective commitment remains at the heart of all we do.
