Our brilliant Robobobers are off on their biggest adventure yet – they’re heading to the Netherlands to compete in the FIRST Tech Challenge European Premier Event!
These talented young engineers have poured heart and soul into their robot, developing their skills in design, coding, teamwork and perseverance. Now it’s their moment to shine on the European stage and show the world what Lumio spirit looks like.
We’re holding thumbs and cheering them on as they carry our BRIGHT values across the border. Good luck to Mr Alex, Kira (Captain), Sava, Alisa, Lester, Emin and Sandy – we know you’ll make us proud!
Gearing Up for Robotex Cyprus 2025!
Excitement is building as Lumio students prepare to take part in the Robotex Cyprus Competition 2025 – one of the country’s biggest celebrations of robotics, innovation and creativity.
Held annually, Robotex Cyprus brings together young tech minds from across the island to compete in challenges that test engineering, coding, and problem-solving skills. It’s more than just a competition – it’s a chance to collaborate, think critically, and have a whole lot of fun.
Our students are hard at work, fine-tuning their robots and sharpening their strategies. We can’t wait to see them in action, showing what’s possible when passion meets perseverance.
Students participating include: Grade 2 – Mikhail; Grade 3 – Mark; Grade 4 – Nikita, Pavlo, Lev, Mikhail and Stanislav; Grade 5 – Nevo and Grade 6 – Andrei, Timofei, and Anna.
Both teams are in school, hard at work fine-tuning their robots and sharpening their skills, during the holiday period. We couldn’t be prouder of the passion, perseverance and problem-solving on display. We wish them all the very best of luck as they prepare and participate in these two prestigious competitions.
