Mr. Colin’s Column
Dear Parents,
As we come to the end of our founding year, I would like to take this opportunity to wish the Lumio school community every success in the future. Establishing a new international school in such a short period of time requires a tremendous amount of dedication, commitment and hard work and everyone associated with the project should be very proud of what has been achieved thus far. The vast number of people who work tirelessly in the background – often going unnoticed – should also be thanked and recognised for their contribution in bringing the Lumio dream to fruition. We set out to create a school where “Happy Children, Learning Together” in a supportive, caring and inclusive environment and I think we have achieved our goal.
The future is unknown. As educators, we try our best to prepare children for a future that is constantly changing – and leading and managing the changes requires a collaborative philosophy which aligns through the school’s founding vision and values.
The growth and development of Lumio is so exciting and I will observe the continual evolution as it shines brightly.
As I head off to Asia to begin a new chapter as a school leader, I would like to thank the teaching staff who embraced the Lumio Learning Framework providing a safe and engaging learning environment for all of our children.

Exciting Progress Across Our Campus
It’s been a year of incredible growth at Lumio! From our revitalised sports fields to the newly designed playground and flourishing gardens, our campus is evolving beautifully. Meanwhile, the Secondary campus is developing in leaps and bounds—classrooms are taking shape fast, with air-conditioning, ceilings, walls, windows, and floors all now being installed.
