The right year group for your child.
The Ministry of Education in Cyprus requires all students applying to schools in the country to comply with the age/grade equivalency.
Students cannot be enrolled, unless they have completed the age set by the Council of Ministers before the 1st of September of the enrolment year. According to the decision of the Council, a student can be enrolled at a primary school only if they have completed the age of 6 years old by 1 September of the start of the academic year.
